Stained Glass Domes & Skylights

The Goat Cave Ranch is located just outside of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country, founded in 1846. Our client commissioned us to design a chandelier to hang over their custom-made mesquite dining table. In the design they asked that we work the name and founding date of the ranch into the design, represent all of the wildlife found on the ranch, use post oak leaves and acorns in the design. We chose to forge our design out of bronze. We encircled the top portion with cut-out silhouettes of the wildlife and backed them with curved, opalescent glass. Beneath this section we painted and fired the ranch name and founding into glass. The glass is surrounded by sculpted acorns and oak leaves. Hanging from this is a ‘Tiffany-style’ leaded glass net-patterned globe of opalescent glass and amethyst jewels. The bottom piece is crowned with our signature Lone Star seal.
