Paul Siskin country home, upstate NY
On a picturesque ridge overlooking New York’s Hudson Valley, a designer builds his own house, one he’s dreamed of since he was a schoolboy.
2,300 square foot three bedroom house.
The library’s bookshelves are mahogany. The library doubles as the entry.
Reclaimed pine covers the wall above the fireplace’s I-beam mantle.
In the living area, which adjoins the master bedroom beyond the pocket door,
a cocktail table designed by Siskin stands before a sofa upholstered in Belgian linen.
Architecture by NY-based architect Joan Chan.
