Outdoor audio video

Here is a fun, casual outdoor home theater built into a patio area in a beautiful Pacific Palisades, CA home. Most of the components are hidden as you will see from the photo call-outs. The large LCD flat panel TV is a specialized weatherproof television specifically designed to withstand the elements and also to give a watchable picture even with sunlight hitting the TV. The surround sound system features 5 speakers plus two buried subwoofers. The stealthy Sonance Landscape Series speakers resemble Malibu lights and are hidden within the overhead trellis. Two subwoofers are buried in the landscape, only the tops of the subwoofers are visible (if you can find them) in the greenscape. Both a handheld and in-wall Creston touchscreen controls not only the audio/video for the outdoor theater, but also landscape lighting, background music, fountains, the pool and spa, and even a custom waterslide built into the hillside. This backyard belongs to a modern home designed by Eric Lloyd Wright, Frank Lloyd Wright's grandson. We did a home automation system for the inside of the home as well.
