Norris Residence

In order for the view of the Willamette River to have maximum impact, we decided to frame it with LaCantina folding doors. The owner had opted to use the insect screen, which created a 4" deep frame around the door. We decided that in order to keep the frame from appearing too intrusive or out of place that the inside face of the wall should be stone. This brought the inside face of the wall more in line with the insect screen, while creating a nice texture around the background of the Willamette River and Forrest Park Beyond.
