Modern Canterbury Elegance

Our designer Candice had the pleasure of working with a Canterbury couple to create this captivating kitchen in their new build. Her clients wanted to create a modern, open space for entertaining and had a love of an ‘inky blue’ navy colour scheme. Incorporating this into the joinery allowed a balance with the interior detailing to not overwhelm the open plan space. While the space wanted to be cohesive, the fridge, sink and oven all needed to be located on the back wall to keep the island benchtop clear for enjoying serving and entertaining. The scullery's open design was chosen to balance function and aesthetics and allow a seamless flow – which we think they’ve absolutely achieved. What a wonderful space. Some of the finer details: - Bestwood Melamine Indian Ink with an embossed finish - Bestwood Melamine Southern Oak in a wilderness finish - Stefano Orlati Capri Handles in Titanium Grey - TriStone Benchtops in Arctic Stone with a seamless waterfall leg to the Island - Undermounted stainless steel Lazio Sinks (Special mentions on this project must go to Rosabel from Harpers Bazaar Interiors, alongside Pringle Homes for use of their imagery.)
