Meadow House
As seen from the living room seating, subtle details divide the great room into definite areas. A custom wood truss anchors the space, adds visual warmth, outlines the ceiling shape, and provides a place for lighting. At the far end, awall, changes in color, and changes in ceiling shape separate the entry and dining room. The built-in bookcase acts as a room divider that defines the foyer and stair while allowing the visitor to see the living room and vistas beyond. The kitchen and dining room are separated by a buffet anchored by columns.

I like the light wood beams but not sure if we can change the color of the beams in our house
