Los Gatos Expansive Remodel

Adding 1000 square feet, this remodeled home became spectacular. Embracing a variety of architectural styles, the homeowner tailored the home’s functionality to their lifestyle. Taking advantage of a split-level design; a den, guest room and bath, wine cellar and dining area plus an exercise room were added. Downstairs, the wine aficionado enjoys his collection through the almost invisible curved glass cellar doors. Honed limestone floors and bold ceiling beams create a warm ambiance for entertaining. Hidden through an adjacent wet bar area is a secret door leading to the exercise room and powder room. On the main floor, the new staircase with arts and craft inspired iron railing enlivens the integrated living, dining and kitchen area. Upstairs, a den and guest room and bath were built. Each room of the house opens to the California sunshine with large windows and sliding doors.
