the custom crown moulding I designed with inset metal stripping and pewter rivets (AKA: Upholstery tacks) to add another element of interest. The granite as you can see has yellow highlights, which was the inspiration for the wall color. The back splash is white porcelain tiles, with black glass to pull in the black and white in the granite.
