Originally JP had wanted block-out roller-blinds for his home theatre (man cave). We explained the benefits of using Warwick 'Dolce' as a theatre drape for it's superior blockout, insulating and acoustic dampening properties and in keeping with the home theatre atmosphere he was keen to create. The drapes consisting of a casual gathered pencil-pleat heading, rather than a structured pinch pleat, provided a fuller more luxurious feel in keeping with what is found at commercial cinemas. Of note is the placement of the surround speakers for which the drapes have been custom modified to allow mounting brackets and wiring to be revealed. The option of a cheaper imitation velvet was offered to JP as an alternative to the Dolce, however it is difficult to match the superior features and luxurious look of the 'Dolce' which is what JP selected.
