The living room is made completely for entertainment. While briefing Yogita, Darshana was clear that their living room had to have enough seating for guests. Therefore, she gave them a blue Cassandra sofa paired with a matching, printed accent chair. Wooden centre and side tables impart a contemporary vibe to this place.
Storage was another criteria that Yogita had to fulfill and you can see that clearly in the TV unit as well. You can spot box-style wall mounted drawers in acrylic finish. The base unit also has drawers and open shelves with a spacious top. The shimmery beading on the textured wallpaper complements the mirror in the dining room.

With a view of sun set from Hall, master bed room and sons bedroom. With gypsum ceiling, vitrified flooring, long snug L shaped sofa, a huge airy terrace , muted colours and quirky accents, the living room is an epitome of contemporary luxury, use of Indian art and craft, the terrace with gorgeous view of endless greenery, is a perfect indulgence! Our client says ‘’ sipping on a cup of coffee surrounded by lush greenery is the best way to recoup our energies and get ready to face another day’’.The terrace is also a family favourite on holidays, as all gather here for impromptu dinners under the stars. Since the dining area requires some intimate space.

“The home abounds with an array of textures, colors and materials”. However, the Botticino Italian marble flooring provided originally by the developer, blends well with our design, helping the client save on budget to a certain extent. Having a deep traditional route, the client wanted a Pooja room to be the most dedicated and dominant area of the space planning. This was combined with a study area which made it a dual functional space. A simple ethnic touch was added with a MDF Jali fixed a wooden frame door finished in champagne leafing. A silver foil leafing over a carved band highlights the backdrop of travertine marble giving a perfect vibe to the room.

"THE PARTITION UNIT " - from our recently completed project at Ambattur.
The challenge here was to have a separation between the main door and the dining area but at the same time
Not to hinder the entire passage area which may tend to make the room smaller.
That's when our architect @payaldave.ar came up with this great yet compact partition unit design- which serves the purpose well & also has sufficient storage space in it .
Do have a look at the design and comment down your thoughts below.

Moving further to the family room, the walls were kept untouched with just plain color look highlighting our TV unit as well as the sofa with its composition. The amazing tv unit undertakes a role of thick support for the cantilever staircase in the back.
