Harpenden Development

We were commissioned to redesign the communal areas for four Seventies apartment blocks which were desperately in need of updating. 90% of the residents wanted to keep the brick walls and we kept these in the design scheme to add texture and to keep in line with the original architectural vision. The giant murals and natural theme of trees and landscapes from the local area brought the outside in. Signage on doors was updated and a subtle colour on the doors helped to create a contemporary feel to bring the building style into the 21st century. www.brightspacedesign.com
