glazed maple cabinets with a boomerang shaped island topped by an organic snack bar. this wall was originally L shaped, we built an angular wall to make the work center flow and to create a focal point. pillowed travertine tiles have an interesting light play when the under cabinet halogen lights are on. we also commissioned a custom mosaic that was designed to have a soft palette and sinuous lines.
