This Dining Room doubles as a Library and was conceived as both a stylish place for entertaining guests and a comfortable retreat. Books and object d'art fill painted bookcases which are backed in lavender gray silk. Modern amenities and transitional furnishings, including a custom dining table, add excitement in their juxtaposition with the traditional mill-work. Accents of red and gold complete the picture of sophistication. Global design, whether collected for years or curated on the spot, is a look that is certainly on trend.
