Early 20th Century Italian Inlaid Vanity with Mirror and Key

Early 20th century Italian inlaid vanity with original mirror and gilt bronze mounts and ring pulls. Drawers are finished with a dovetail, and has a white lining that can be removed easily. The vanity top centre opens by lifting straight up, then the left and right side compartments can be lifted directly up and hold in place at a slight angle. When you lock the key, it locks only the top compartments, not the drawers. All drawers open and close with ease. Key has a light blue French tassel which is original to the piece. The legs and tops and drawers are solid and sturdy, this can be used now for an everyday piece. There are slight issues shown with the finish, see our photos, where it looks at some point this may have been refinished, and areas of the wood absorbed more stain than others. Still beautiful, with its inlay top and decorative hardware, this is a very charming and useful piece. Measures: 29" W x 18.75" D x 30" H Clearance is 21" 45.5" H with mirror opened.
