Contemporary Patio - Terraced

This recent urban installation of our box section Modular Patio System illustrates how it provides a smart solution to many issues faced by installers and landscape designers alike. I should add that the client gets a good looking patio that creates plenty of useful additional space for outside living. An urban property, in a thriving and prosperous part of Birmingham, it features a steep fall to the rear elevation. The original patio area, possibly dating back to the 1950s, was supported by a brick retaining wall equal in height to a level of the house. The pictures tell the story but in summary using our box section Modular Patio System provides a straight-forward solution to managing elevations, involves minimal groundwork, allows easy access of materials and equipment through to the rear of the building, allows fast installation, completely flat and solid supported surface allows a wide choice of patio floor materials such as porcelain, integrated drains not required uses existing services, strong box section design but a manageable weight allows fast assembly, the system allows the hidden integration of services, power, water, lighting and audio. Showing the lower level of the patio and the steps down from the upper level (left of picture). Also this illustrates a subtle mix of floor materials - primarily porcelain tiling. A water feature in the corner of the lower level - see additional images
