Contemporary in the Woods

This 1970s contemporary on a heavily wooded lot was usually dark due to the tree canopy. My job was to create light interiors that were crisp but not too hard-edged. This vignette of the living room, partially a two-story space, shows the simplicity of design appropriate for the house. The tall window is draped in woven aluminum fabric.
