This is a four-bedroom apartment designed in a Californian aesthetic. Our goal was to create a cozy and modern living space by using teak wood and minimalist décor. The apartment is spacious, airy and filled with natural light. The furniture pieces in the apartment are predominantly made of teak wood. The wood's natural grain and texture give the space a warm and organic feel. We chose furniture pieces with clean lines, focusing on functionality over ornamentation. This helped to create a minimalist yet comfortable living space. To balance out the warmth of the teak wood, we used black and white fixtures and details throughout the apartment. The black and white accents provide a striking contrast to the wood and create a contemporary and timeless feel. The forms of the furniture and accessories follow function. The design is minimalistic and doesn't overwhelm the space. We kept the color palette simple, using muted colors like beige and grey to give the space a cohesive and calming ambiance.
