Burr Ridge, IL Multi-Cook Kitchen Make-Over

The existing home had originally had a dining room off the kitchen. The dining room was moved to the living room space. The opening to the sun room was enlarged and framed by glass door cabinets. A cabinet to the counter-top had glass on both sides so that the dishes and glassware could be accessed from both areas and the view of the back yard was visible through the cabinet. A new prep sink was located on the 9’ x 4.5’ island adjacent to a second dishwasher. This created two separate work triangles with the 60” double ovens located in the range and accessible form both areas.
