White and gray are far from boring in this bathroom renovation. The quartz bench inside the shower continues the full length of the wall, slicing through the floor to ceiling linen cabinet and glass shower enclosure. Custom Cascade cabinet doors with a metallic silver painted finish, add an unexpected element to this contemporary bathroom. Built-in hampers are another added bonus. Oversized porcelain square floor tiles, textured glossy wall tiles, and stainless steel accent tiles welcome us into this spa-like oasis. A pop of color from a single piece of contemporary art makes a stunning impact.

With the floor to ceiling windows continuing through into the bathroom, and white details throughout, the room is airy and filled with light. The master bathroom has lots of contrast and drama with its dark floors, doors, and other features, while the countertops, cabinets, and walls remain light.The deep soaking tub and shower are fitted with brass plumbing fixtures, as well. This turn-of-the-century original Sellwood Library was transformed into an amazing Portland home for it's New York transplants. The arched paneled walls and black and white tiled floors add to the eclectic mix of original craftsmanship and modern influences. Lincoln Barbour
