Award Winning Britannia Bungalow

This kitchen is part of a main floor renovation and addition, which won the 2010 SAM Award for Best Home Renovation (With Addition). To increase the natural lighting in this modern kitchen, the roof was raised and windows were added on two sides. The exposed trusses were painted white to reflect the light, and provide a fresh, clean atmosphere. Cherry and maple cabinets with coconut and nutmeg finishes, with granite counter tops, backsplash, and island top add an earthy feeling. The travertine flooring provides a clean, fresh look.
