Aldomi House

This house had been extensively “remuddled” in the middle of the last century. Its new owners wanted to bring it back into harmony with the wonderful old bayside community around it and open up the interiors to enhance socializing. The porch addition did require a Zoning Variance from the city and application to CRMC for the work. The renovations included great attention to function, while reusing as much as of the existing house as possible. BTGA began by using shingle-style detailing to unify the house’s architectural elements. We opened the spaces inside the house to each other, and to the outside views.
