A Contemporary Kitchen Reno

Our customers were a lovely family from the bustling suburb of St Heliers. Their design brief was to create a kitchen that would not only cater to their practical needs but also serve as the central hub of their home. The key driving force behind the design was the desire to create a family-centric space that could effortlessly accommodate various activities while the open-plan layout, shared with the dining, lounge and study nook would facilitate seamless interaction and connectivity. The centerpiece of this kitchen is the meticulously designed island, to soften the overall ambiance and add an element of sophistication, the centerpiece of this kitchen incorporated a Corian benchtop in Valente Grigio. Embracing fluidity and comfort, the island features a gentle curve that not only softens the space but also encourages natural movement and enhances the flow of activities. Its spacious countertop invites family members, especially the kids, to gather around, engage in homework, and foster meaningful connections. The island acts as a multi-functional space, seamlessly transitioning from a practical work surface to a vibrant social hub. To infuse the kitchen with character & sophistication, a meticulously selected colour palette was employed. Dezignatek Pistachio and Peltro, with the Lyon profile, were chosen for the cabinetry, creating a harmonious contrast against the neutral backdrop. The soft grey veining on the island benchtop provides a sense of calmness and sophistication, and the incorporation of a curved benchtop adds a touch of elegance and softness, setting it apart from traditional linear designs. By incorporating sophisticated materials, thoughtful spatial planning, and a vibrant colour scheme, this kitchen stands as a testament to modern living and the clients are totally in love with the final design.
