Overall Style
I like glass doors and walls between daytime rooms, it can be opened up for sharing (and airing) or closed so different people can be doing different things at the same time, such as working on one room, cooking n another, and relaxing in a third, without disturbing each other and yet feeling near one another.
I love the colours, styles and textures. There is too much shabby in this shabby chic, I'd want most of those paint scratches sorted out!
I love printed glass splash backs, I hadn't considered one for a shower before
I love the colours, materials and that the original footprint was maintained. These days there is far too much expensive enlarging when sensible rearrangements can occur
I like the multiple textures and changes in colour (even if monochrome). I like the texture of the chimney breast. I like the kitchen back-splash. I like the beams on the ceiling (they don't need to be big. I love the big windows. I'd prefer larger skirting boards (in other images). I'd prefer a door over the laundry - happy to have it in the kitchen.
I like all the detailing in the trim etc. I like the in-line flow of the day areas, even though it's far to big for my budget. I would like to have sliding glass doors between the kitchen dining and the living room, and would add a study at the end with the same glass doors, that way it can be open or closed according to need.
I like these modern approaches to mesh, I tend to think of it on the front of kitchen cabinets, however as a replacement to a shower curtain - I like that, and instead of a banister and on stair risers, I like that. I would like the kitchen drawer baskets better if they weren't oval based, otherwise they're great
I loved everything about this home, the materials and the colours - 'Coastal-farmhouse' is a wonderful style
I love the kitchen colours and the layouts, especially through the pantry into the laundry - it looks like there may be a bathroom beyond that. I'd prefer more colour in the bathroom shown. I like the big windows and the study. I'd prefer more curtains for acoustic softening.
I've liked the idea of being able to divide a room without dividing it fully. I really like this clear clean glass, contrasting with the decor.
Useful data
I like the warmth, I think from the wood since there isn't any other colour than shades of grey. I like the sympathetic style
I like all the textures and colours, it makes a change from the prevalent neutrals.
I love the concept of building around a sheltered area. I like the natural materials. I like the space and light.
I like the natural materials and warm feeling. I like that they have curtains in the bedrooms!
I like the spotted privacy circles, saving on the need for nets to provide privacy and some sun screening.
I love this dappled shade by the laced brick facade across the windows - perfect for the hot environment. I Like the wood kitchen joinery and interesting tiles and the big circular table.
I like this blue
I like this use of wood throughout. I like the use of custom joinery. I would still prefer more warmth via colour.
I like the glass wall, it allows extra light into the bedroom and yet provide som sound reduction between the rooms. I don't like the excess of white.
Useful resource on curtains and I like the styles
I love the use of natural wood, especially on the insides of storage. I like the relaxed natural look and the excellent storage. I prefer a little more colour rather than the greys.
I like the mix of traditional and modern styles, I love the curtains.
I like the two-colour palette, I like the different sofas, I like the glass beside the front door and the wood for the stair well. I don't like that intrusive light fitting, and I would want curtains and storage.
I like this colour palette, particularly the combination of different colour walls and the pale curtains with the wood accent
I love the colours, the use of brass to warm up wet areas which tie into the joinery. I love the extensive bookcases. I love the stained glass. I like the white-out windows in the lower sashes of the main bedroom, mitigating the need for net curtains. I like the use of sisal carpet, too many period houses are stripped to bare wood making them harsh on sound, in those periods carpets were a sign of good fortune - so why abolish them? Usually I like colour on the walls, but there is enough colour throughout.
I love the clean lines, lots of windows, white outside walls that have texture, and avoidance of subway tiles and plastic. It looks a family size instead of a rich person's mansion.
I love these curtains and I like the idea of the triple stripe of wall paint at the picture rail height.
I love these curtains! I like the wall colour and I love the triple stripe at picture rail height.
Small space living is underrated and this demonstrates how good it can be
I like these glass doors, they look like sliding ones, although I would be pleased with either sliding or standard opening doors.
I strongly identify with this style - I didn't know it had a name. I will decline the neon though...!
I love the light and airy feeling, the open plan with clear divisions and 'rooms'. I like the wood and white paint - it remains warm.
Its a modern update of an older building with mid-century modern aesthetics although they don't mention it at all. I like the colours and space.
I like the simplicity yet with greater warmth than Scandi. I think I'd still need more colour.
I love that floor. and the ceiling is beautiful, otherwise it is too white.
I like these doors to divide the room, they allow a sense of connectedness while allowing separate activities to occur without interrupting each other. I like the doors to the hallway, they are beautiful while providing privacy. I love the ceiling height and decoration.
I love the gable window. I would like it in living, dining, kitchen and bathroom rooms, but not in bedrooms because it would not be easy to block light at night.
I love this glass wall look, and it works great as a way to reduce noise coming up or down the stairwell
Nice way to bring light into the corridor
I love this study added to a terrace house I like the windows the tiles and the shelves, although I think I would be bashing my knees on the wall under the small desk
Fabulous window wall - although I do not see the point in just part of the kitchen. I like the beams and the ability to open the windows.
I love this light wall, it allows light and would reduce sound transmission between the floors
I love that this increases the light into the corridor, I would not opt for that dark paint though. Privacy is not the issue here as they are daytime rooms. Sound management and light enhancement are the key factors.
This would work well as a divider in a big open plan room to allow open plan or separated living, depending on the activities of the time.
I love these internal glass walls. I'd like to do this as an 'open plan' day rooms with glass doors and walls to enclose it for noise and smell reduction.
Love this green-roof and the trees almost curling around the garage Love the use of the boulders for shape
I would love a home half buried with a green roof - even just a green roof would be good
Love this large scale Scrabble and Chess on the wall. You could play a move every time you walk past it.
Glass doorways and walls - Crittall style I love this style, it holds its own without dominating a room.
Love mid-century modern!
I love this dramatic ceiling
I like these chairs, described as being covered in ikat fabric. I like their shape and scale. I also like the display cabinet behind.
I like the combination of natural wood, painted wood and paint. It's not busy and had space and texture as well as lots of light from the windows.
