Hi, sxp245! Your project sounds amazing. So, though I still am conflicted about it, we ended up changing our kitchen a little--mainly due to the problem of how to coordinate our wood floor with the smokey grey cabinets. We went with a dark blue painted island, white quartz counters everywhere, and the Pearl Omega cabinets. If I could go back, I probably would have done the calacatta quartz at least on the island. I didn't find great info on the Vadara product we were considering, and it seems there weren't as many cool marble-like quartz options then. I do think the smokey gray/calacutta/Pearl cabinets is a winning combination. My friend who is a designer and has a great eye for color pulled those 3 together and felt like they worked really well. I think that combination would be beautiful--and both cool and classic! :) On another note, the Omega cabinets do seem to be good quality, and the finish has held up well, despite the workout they get from my kids! Best of luck with your project! I would love to see photos of the finished product!
