It looks good with a cabinet on the backside dividing the space...I love the idea of a drawer...would make the space underneath actually accessible.

Q

Interesting how the banquet wraps three sides with the third being backless.

Interesting banquet...looks a little uncomfortable?

Almost exact banquet as the other one, but with no back cushion. I prefer no back cushion...

Q

Photo

I love everything about this! I would take one of the "legs" turn it perpendicular to what it is now and have a center post.

Q

Photo

I like the square base...would only need one for a square table.

Q

Photo

I like the banquet along the wall -- we wouldn't need a back. I was thinking if we were going to find a cabinet maker to butt up against the other banquet, what would you think of using the back of the cabinet as the backside? Have more of a bench/cabinet made depending on the living room cabinet as the back.

Q

Photo

What if we did something as simple as this?

Q

Photo

What if you did something like this but instead of two at either end mimicking legs, do one (maybe fatter) in the center as a center support?

Q

Photo

Again, a center support.

Q

Photo

We could have some kind of center post made (give the dimensions) and then have the table top cut to size.

Q

Photo

square table with some kind of center support...no legs on the outside makes it usable on all sides.

That's it! Goes to show that the center post has to have a long diameter in order to support the table top...

Q

Photo

More contemporary center post

Q

Photo

A little ornate for my taste, but I like the concept for a center post being able to support a bigger surface area tabletop.

Q

Photo

Yes! If we were to find a base we would have to make sure it could support the size of top...maybe two?

Q

Photo

Could figure out dimension for making a wooden square base like the builder made a round one in this picture.

Q

Table Base?

Q

Would you want to have a square tabletop like this made and us attach a base that we find to it?
