This is the look I want: light granite but with dark colors running thru it; the island is a darker color than the cabinets. I do not want white cabinets but something "light".
I like the idea of a tile decorative feature above the stove below the covered hood.

We like these accordion windows/doors to open up on to our outdoor living area.
I like having a corner portion made of butcher block but counter elsewhere is granite or some other material.
