Realized from this one that the difference between one and two shelf floating vanities is that all the one-shelf ones include medicine cabinets on the wall. The two shelf ones have storage below. We will want to have some storage, but I believe the basket idea will work, else just one drawer each. Or a nook in the wall??
This is the general design idea -- open below, except I'd prefer a solid shelf (easier to keep clean!) and don't need all those drawers... just one small one each side, shelf for baskets
Wall mount faucet, floating vanity, mirror on wall w/ pendant lighting, towel bars handy on counter (tho' I would not place directly in front of sink, tsk! prefer an undermount or integrated sink, I think, but the vessel really looks fabulous. I've seen rectangular vessel sinks that are partially submerged in counter, seem far more functional (versus circular -- too small!) yet still lovely to look at and easier to clean around.
Hate the color here, but love the idea. We have a LOT of storage for bathroom, as there is a linen closet in the hall. Like the idea of the simple shelf below, ala upscale hotel/spa feel. Also like the floating counter idea. Maybe wood below, or a place with cubbies. The point it, don't need a large cupboard/solidity.
More examples of the open look. Do I really need FLOATING or would this be fine? Like it.
