I have saved so many photos from this home, I just really love the entire rustic, but elegant look in this home. That really is how I would describe my style. So, onto the photo. This little alcove here lets in some very nice light down the hall to brighten up what could be a dark area. The lamp on the side of the wall would give some elegant light in the evening. It would be awesome to have it as a motion sensor and light sensor type light so that it would be a great night light that turns on while walking around at night. The idea of having a rug there creates a pause and focal point for the area. It says, "Hey, you may just be turning the corner here, but guess what the table and chair here own this little spot. Don't forget about us. We weren't just casually left here to be forgotten." Okay, I think I'm done having the furniture having emotions and such now.
