the table wood and wood of the chairs aren't even a close match. i don't love the mix but yet, the balance of delicateness and heavy table structure underneath works.

THIS is eclectic. Modern table with weirdo chairs. It looks good, but a bit extreme, however look at the rustic mixed with sleek. It can be done.
