Easy to do to jazz up pillow cases
Inexpensive little accent chandelier
A little mod for my taste, but I just love the lightness/brightness even though it's not my usual style. Everything just looks so clean and vibrant. I love that tabletop and that light fixture. Look at the other photos of the space
Just WOW
So comfy and relaxing. Love the built-ins and the little sitting area
Another Michael Abrams that caught my eye
beautiful. see the comments on the other rooms
see other rooms of this house under more info. I LOVE this whole house. I love the layout of the kitchen, the warm, dark cabinets (unusual for me to like the dark, but it just 'works' in this house) and the tone, curve and roominess of the counter space.

This house is definitely going to make it into my final, weeded down idea book! This is the epitome of traditional elegance, and so 'livable' see the other views of other rooms in this project. The whole house is so "me" The curve of the stairway and banister, archways, stately columns, large windows, that perfect little piano nook. sigh....
I like the more substantial, chair-like bar seats. Although sparse bar stools look nice, these are much more comfortable looking. I like a huge center island (although I prefer lighter marble or quartz colors) , and prefer an island like this with no sink in it. Just lots of room for preparing and serving food.
I should have known this was a Michael Abrams room. I has that quality of being elegant, stylish, timeless, and completely livable at the same time. I'd not change a thing.
The inset nook where the credenza is. The mirror, light fixture and the punch of color from the teal drapes, chairs and vase.
The symmetry. The tufted arm sofas. That there are 2 of them, facing one another for good facilitating of conversation.
Nice and clean looking. I love marble, and a calming neutral color scheme in the bathroom, which can be dressed up easily with colorful linens and accessories for a pop of color. Like that the his and hers sinks are opposite one another. Love that tub and a large window in the bathroom is always welcome
The perfect over the sink window and I like the look of the glass front cabinets with it. A house with a window above the kitchen sink is going to be a must I think.
Love the look of built-ins, but I'd probably not do them because it'd be too difficult to change them out if I got tired of them. Lots of storage for both of us though. That tufted floor to ceiling panel-Wow! All of that interest and it's still very restful and not distractingly 'busy'. I think I'd just change the light fixtures and drapes
I love the architecture of the room. I love the comforter, and the pattern on the chest thing. I'm not a real fan of the wall color, though. With a fireplace like that, and the amount of space available, why those chairs? They look more suited for a dining room. I'd have two big, comfy chairs facing one another on either side of the fireplace, with a large, square ottoman in between, so my sweetie and I could lounge there with our feet up in front of the fireplace.
those light fixtures have 3 things I love: circles, gold, and sparkle. I don't think I'd do them in my bedroom, I need low-key in my bedroom, and these are dramatic. But they sure are beautiful. And I love the rose blossom pillows and the night stands
This caught my eye immediately and stopped my finger as I was flicking through the photos in the Houzz app. Turns out it's another Michael Abrams bedroom. I seem to be drawn to his designs. At second glance, I thought 'there isn't enough color.' But really though, all of the different textures, finishes, and tone variations make up for that, giving the room interest, without being too 'busy'. A very restful room. The only things I'd change would be the pattern on the window treatments and bolster; maybe the same background color, with circles in a lighter shade of the pillow color, and a more romantic chandelier.
Love that beautiful aqua color ! Great idea to paint the back panel of a shelving unit. I don't like the orange with the aqua myself, but appreciate that the rug ties it all together, having both colors in it.
Everything. Total awesomeness
I seem to keep going for photos very similar to this. Headboard, light fixture, lamps pillows, and night stands. They're oval shaped, as seen by the other view into this room from the hallway. Soft, restful, serene. I might take a wide strip of the same fabric that's on the pillows, and run it down the inside edges of the curtain panels, and paint a slightly deeper color inside the framed panels behind the bed.
Love the unusual color of the sectional! Saved to show you the huge ottoman/coffee table, (which would go perfectly with the studded cream leather chairs that I love)
See my comment on the other view of these rooms. Love the ceiling too. A good use of a long, narrow space
So soft and romantic and feminine. I appreciate all the little details in the room like the edging on top of the headboard, the fuzzy throw pillow on the bed, and the accent trim around the spread, and that the designer kept the window shades, drapes, and bedding plain and simple so the room didn't become too 'busy' to be restful. Very nicely done. I think I'd opt to use the wallpaper on just the wall behind the bed, and paint the other walls a very pale shade of the wallpaper background color. Wish I could see what kind of light fixture she used overhead. One of the other photos from this project, the one looking into another bedroom from the hallway, shows a beautiful chandelier that would look fabulous with this room too.
This is a beautifully well put together room. The designer has obviously got a great eye for detail.
I saved the other view of this room too. Love that green, especially with the white.
Love the color of the wall and rug
hmm... starting to see a trend here. Seems I'm drawn to the white kitchens. This one is charming :) Some of the cabinetry elements make it look old fashioned, but use of the marble behind the stove and the modern lighting lend a modern touch. A charming effect. I really love the hood. It seems to me that when the large, fat ones like that are done in stainless steel, they're 'too much.' But the white looks just right, and blends in nicely with the rest of the kitchen.
This is lovely. Love the built in window seat that matches the cabinetry elements. And white marble.... oh yes!
Just a very nice, clean, pretty design. It's open, yet it has it's own defined space, unlike some kitchens I've seen that take 'open concept' a bit too far.
The mirror, the chairs, the wall sconces, table and buffet, window treatments, and that awesome, perfect droplet chandelier... So, everything
The whole room. I love wainscoting and framing on walls. Light fixtures Table and chairs
That ceiling! That mirror omg. beautiful. love the chairs too. A sparkly crystal chandelier is a must but I want one that's a more unusual, less traditional
Add to an ideabook for area deviders
This is the other view of the living area and kitchen that I like so much. See other views of this room and the fabulous kitchen on the other side . Find out if there is a way to rearrange photos in the Idea Book so that photos of the same room or area come up next to one another on the slide show
This would make a great guy's bathroom. E would probably like this for his bath. Love that the accent tile runs all the way into the shower
I just love the fact that they used the white marble on both the counters and the back splash, and the way the lightning lends a creamy aura to it and the pretty white cabinets. This color scheme would never get tiresome, because you could always add colorful elements and accents to change it up
Table and chairs
This is just so cute and perky and gave me some ideas. 1.Repeating window treatment pattern pillow shams 2. Adding framing to the wall behind the bed. 3. Cute and perky accent pillow covers that pick up colors from the rest of the room. 4.Fabric for chair covers that has a nubby textured look, but is actually smooth (no imprints on the thighs) All easy projects
That type of bench seat (different fabric though) at the foot of my bed. Alternatively, a set of small, cushy upholstered chairs with a small table between. Great button-tufted headboard if I did a dark theme. If not, a cream colored one.
I wouldn't do this room myself, but saved it because its so interesting. Sort of a Mediterranean feel. The rounded recess behind the bed. Wall texture. Fireplace. Romantic, cozy room
Everything. Especially the angled nook by window, with the cubby closet. I would do a different wall color.
Everything.
I love the way the windows above the bed frame the stonework outside, like a piece of artwork that goes with the color scheme of the room. The layout, with the little angled sitting nook
Really love this room
