Kinda what I’m thinking. Too dark? A: Yes a bit dark, but I LOVE the way the stove hood disappears visually. And generally, I like that the whiteness of everything "disappears" it visually so that you're eyes are drawn to the wood and the outside

Q

Photo

Handles Yes, but as with the first image "too dark?" I kind of like white handles so they disappear

Q

Warm grey much prefer wood for ceilings/floors/accents/tabletops. really don't like this very much. I guess we need countertops, and grey could be good there.

3 Attractive New Kitchens With Wood Cabinets

Q

A: hmmm, realizing I like the white better because it disappears better and you look outside/ at the wood

Q

Photo

A: lots going on here, not sure what to give feedback on. love that the hood disapperas because it's white, like the patterned tile (thogh not this pattern) IF the rest of the kitchen is simpler, this is a bit busy...

Q

Photo

counters A: gorgoues, love the color, but prefer rounded edges these are a bit harsh

Q

Photo

A: lots going on. love that the white makes cabinets disappear. (ok I'll stop sayhing that lol). I (still) keep liking the pop of the colored island. chars look good there too. not sure if there's anything else you're thinking about here...

Q

Photo

ceiling A: hmmm. not bad, but I don't like wood-on-wood look

Q

Photo

framed in would counter top A: do you mean the island top? looks great.

Q

Photo

cosy ceiling/counter Don't love the wood on wood look (but I'll try to find something I do like so I'm not jsut being critical...) counters are alright. LOVE the color/slate look/feel of the counters (and omg that fridge ? on the far left) but these counters are WAY too thin, makes them less comforting

Q

Photo

A: lots going on, anything specific?

Q

Photo

Rustic frame A: I think it can work, but this is a hard mismatch with teh polished/modern. but in our kitchen with white could be nice. but less yello?

Q

Photo

Boundary frame between kitchen and dining A: not sure if you mean the huge curves (interesting, I dig it!) or thelittle slats along the ceiling (ok I guess)

Q

Photo

PEI Ceilings A: I like!

Q

Photo

stove on firewood but will look odd if empty or only have filled so may not be good idea A: seems very practical, and warming would dry out wood if needed, and also lifts the stove higher... I think we'd justalways have wood. I think we can count on always having wood.

Q

Photo

Would counter. Also what do you thing of roundness of one side of island? A: love all of it, but thick thick thick is good

Q

Photo

Pop out window with frameless window highlighting view A: probably expensive but very nice!

Q

Photo

What do you think of this ceiling? No beams but Woody and pretty. A: I like it. too many little lights tho

Q

Photo

Can we have a tighter corner window Gorgeous, but Iworry about leaks/etc. would it hold up?

Q

Photo

if we go woody, this isn't bad A: not sure which part you mean, there isn't much Ilioke about it but I could be missing what you mean. the shelves on the island are nice

Q

Photo

potential wood option/color A: way too bland imho

Q

Photo

a fun, colorful island! But not that countertop necessarily. I like! And like floors! Yes! with a thick wood top, and not too sure of the orange because it would dominate the room a bit much, but yeah I like the pop in general. floors are nice!

Q

Photo

I like the mix of white, wood, and a color A: Yes, but the wall/backsplash tile in the background needs color to contrast, love the white cabinets, and the island top thick wood, but generally yes it's good.

Q

Photo

pretty wood A: yes! love the disappearing white. I'd have our island with a wood top and your color bottom but yeah in general i'ts nice. don't like the modern lights tho

Q

Photo

corner seating around island A: love that there's room for your feet! yes. in terms of stools: https://www.houzz.com/photos/query/kitchen-island-counter-stools/p/20?oq=kitchen%20island%20counter%20stools&redirectoq=kitchen%20island%20counter%20stools

Q

Photo

matching cabinetry around the fridge, and I some nice color for the island that is different from other cabinets. A: much prefer the disappearing white cabinets. like the thickness of island top, but would like more roundedness.

Q

Photo

garbage and recycling drawer is good. can't be in logical place in island perhaps A: not sure about where it goes but yes this is great

Q

Photo

Teal or turquoise island w/ wood top. A: fun! we might want to pick up the island color somewhere else in the decor, and also pay attention to how it would match with teh views?

Q

Photo

I like the ceiling beams ~Aaron

Q

Photo

Hidden hood is good A: yes, but the wood trim is un-hiding it lol

Q

Photo

Island with different/wood than counters. Need low maintenance wood if wood A: gotta be wood! and yes this is great, but I like grey slate for countertops, with thick/rounded feeling
