I was thinking about what you were saying before about linking the bathroom into the main house with like a tile color choice or something, and I was thinking about putting some pillow tile in the bathroom that would link it to the front of the house which has a Saltillo tile which isn't going away, and I looked at a bunch of pictures that I really liked the look of, maybe we could do like a hexagon pattern instead in the bathroom plus Saltillo tiles on the cheap end tile wise I wouldn't have to be an exact dupe because the tiles aren't going to be next to each other. I also like this style of shower I've seen it a couple other places where there isn't a door at all there's a shower and then it has like a partial wall that semi encloses it from the room but you just walk into it it doesn't have a door or a curtain or anything
S: I like this accent island c:I still think red would be hard, but the island could be an accent color or accent all wood
when we tap into the attic, you need to add a slide s: to Max's office or to the garage? C: To the living room, it can open under the TV
S: I like that color a lot c:love this for the girl's bathroom
Cool color block built in. something like this could be cool to make the odd shaped bonus room a combo library/sitting room and play room
C: I was going to say these are similar to the exisitng cabinets and we coulf aim for this feel with the red stove instead of orange. S: Love cabinets and tile wall
C: Build.com had a lot of fixtures and handles, it's where I got almost everything for Mom's Bathroom. S/C: I like these wide handles
C: I like a waterfall, we are getting rid of mom's raised breakfast bar but I think it would be nice separation form the stove. We will get cabinets that look good/complementary so they will not need to be disguised! S:maybe we could Doo the waterfall thing off the end w/o stools to kid of disguise the different cabinets. unless the stools are going to wrap around the corner?
s: I agree, I without it the wall would be too much. c:I like the subway tile on the bottom to break up the busy design
C: Easy enough, this would be cute integrating their vintage hats into the leaves like flowers. S;This shelf is also hella cute
C: I like these. S; I like this asymmetrical shelf wall
C: I don't mind these depending on which room we need them. S:Colored shelves?
C: I do think there are plenty of cabinets to use for uppers and lowers in the kitchen, we may need a different accent cabinet for the island and I recommend adding some statement hardware to modernize it. S:If we are going with a lighter countertop I'm very in favor of saving the current cabinets if we can. Do you think we could salvage the ones over the boob window and move them into where the pantry is?
S/C:This is very cool
S: I like this kitchen, I like the dark blue cabinets and I feel like I am organized wnough for some open shelving
S: These look fine, as long as in person they are grey and not greige C: Do you not like the counters in this pic?
C. VETO ICY WATERFALL S: haha that is exactly what max said,, well we will paint our pink walls icy waterfall and see if ther eis anything to it C: If you can see the wall color, you're doing it wrong. I do love mom's super dark bedroom walls but I would not do bright or powdery
S/C: I love everything about this picture
S/C: Big sectional with chaise
Like this round sectional, color a bit too dark
i LIKE THIS ALCOVE THING THAT MOM HAAS
What is your stance on colored ceilings in the cathedral room? I THINK THE CATHEDRAL ROOM WILL HAVE A LOT GOING ON ALREADY WITH THE ARCHITECTURE, STATEMENT FIREPLACE, AND STATEMENT WOOD WALLS. LOVE COLORED CEILINGS NOT FOR THAT SPACE
like these pink ceilings for girls room, though I would either do the color block or the ceiling not both. LIKE COLORED CEILINGS BUT NOT THAT SHADE. CUTOM WALL PAPER CEILING COULD BE REALLY COOL. SOMETHING MORE UNDERSTATED THAN THAT COLOR OR LIKE AN AURORA SITCH
I've been toying with the idea of a warmer color scheme. maybe a bit more brown and less yellow than these walls, i wish we could filter by color. YOU REALLY LIKE BOLD COLORS AND FIXTURES, I THINK THE MOST NEUTRAL WALL WE CAN MANAGE WILL BE BEST, WARMER TONES TO COMPLEMENT THE EXISTING WOOD
C: pretty colors, I think we need to be more neutral for living spaces and darker for bedrooms,
I like these wood cabinets with the red counter, i like the kind of warmer feel. DO YOU LIKE REPURPOSING YOUR EXISTING CABINETS? IF NOT I THINK MORE WOOD ON TOP OF THE EXISTING WOOD WALLS AND FLOORS MAY BEE TOO MUCH WOOD. THIS IS SIMILAR TO THE FLOOR COLOR I WAS THINKING
I like that couch, and the bubble lights AGREE. THIS LEFT WALL IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF INCREDIBLY NEUTAL COLOR THAT PLAYS WARM
THE MORE i LOOK AT THIS PICTURE THE MORE i LIKE THE COLOR SCHEME
vintage upholstry fabric I'M IN FAVOR AS LONG AS IT IS WIPE CLEAN. MY GIRLS LIKE TO SPREAD PEANUT BUTTER EVERYWHERE. YOUR GIRLS NEED A SMACK
I like the chevron pattern on that sideboard, I LIKE THIS TOO
could be a good dining solution! adding the banquette to the back of the counter
chair, bold styles/shapes/colors to pull in retro
SPUTNIK LIGHT, this isn't the really cool one I saw but it is pretty cool Max lukewarm
THIS ISLAND WHERE THE COUNTER TURNS INTO A TABLE IS KIND OF COOL
green couch for formal living
digging the dramatic island
This darker red might work better with the wood accent wall than the bright red
red option
Waterfall island LOVE VERY SLEEK
love this whole bar area/wall paper for dining room
beautiful wall paper for kids room off front deck Max and I love this wallpaper
cool geometric pattern for wallpaper or backsplash
I'm thinking about ways to incorporate light in the master bath, I like the idea of like a big lit panel like this but does it make it look too hotel-y?
