Another slider possibility
Not as pleasant, but the same idea. I think mirrors are better.
If we cannot have sliders, a series of floor to ceiling narrow mirrored doors and a mirrored fixed panel might be an option.
Barn doors are trendy. I don't care for them. Are they practical? They are better than bifold tin louvered doors.
There is a narrow coats closet. Would more organized space work better? Adds impression of depth and width. Could "pull down" hangers work? See Wayfair Adjustable wall mounted clothes rack.
Good way to make use of high storage spaces
Colors are bad, but the concept of flanking the shower plumbing with recessed shelving is very clever.
Probably too small. Might work by sink or on shower head wall. Stacked?
bathtub/shower combo with much cleaner glass door. There are also bypass doors that do not have gunk-gathering tracks at the bottom.
As much as possible of the wall space behind the vanity ought to be storage for make up and toiletries. 2 girls have too much!
We need to build around the boxed in pipes to maximize space and efficiency.
Here is an example of "end unit" storage for very narrow items... here on the room side of a built in fridge. Could also surround the fuse box. I've also seen this arrangement done for long flat things like swiffers and brooms and aprons.
A wall of mirrors with some closet behind would give the illusion of more space, but I am not sure if it would work with the half wall in the bedroom. Mirror that, too? "Guernsey" closet?
My idea of pleasant tile color.
Houzz sells this kit. One has to have a "garage" to store it, it holds a garbage can, but it pulls out on wheels to double work surface. This would be a solution to use at the window end if we could cantilever or use corbels to support the end of the countertop.
A pull out tall pantry might work on one side of the fridge.
The 6i bedroom closet wall has 33% + 33% closet behind louvered bifold tin doors and 33% blank wall.. There is 6" available to frame out, if one has nesting sliding doors instead of bifold.
