Love this wood counter top. But is it practical? What are pros/cons?

We like the grey floors with the overall look, and the slab - how the veins/patterns continue over the edge

We like the grey counter color and texture and that the texture is interesting but muted. We like the wood cabinets (to the right of the picture) and the kitchen table, too.

This is a display at Mountainland that we REALLY like. The grey (matte finish) combo with the wood. Simple pulls, clean lines.

Don't like this kitchen. But we like the idea of the ladder, especially if the cabinets go all the way to the ceiling. We realize this may not be possible, but just thinking about it.

We like this countertop material

I like the differing size, shape and hanging height of this group of lights. (not necessarily the color though)

We really like the texturized finish on these cabinets. Lindsay really likes the rustic wood bar, Brent not so much. We both like the cabinet style.

We like the grey (matte finish) with the wood. We also like the two islands and would like to do that if possible. On the island in the foreground, we like the seat/bar that is raised above counter and that it's wood (that matches the wood cabinets. Other aspects of the kitchen are "whatever"
