Is it my Home? No it's my Houzz!
Where I'll be living in 6 years time. A little bit of scandi, throw in some zen. My modern home with a minimalist aesthetic will be the perfect place to come back to.
The most important thing in a study is breathing room. If the space in the room is open, your mind will be as well. Natural light is also a must and the floor to ceiling windows really offer that. I also enjoy the clean almost block colouring of the three distinct textures: wood, concrete, and flat white paint.
Floors blending into the stairs, a small light filled courtyard/atrium is truly a breath of fresh air in a longer room like this. I love the sweeping flat lines, and the soft natural tones and woven textures brought in by the choice of couch and rug. The built in cabinetry, tv area and exposed brick adds subtle dimension and interest to the space.
I really love this outdoor area. The terrace levels segment up the space and create a real sense of interest and exploration. I also really like the wood panelling, it brings a visual cohesion to the space and really makes you wanna walk barefoot around it.
