My ideas
3 smaller decorative pillows in front of 2 shams and one decorative pillow with a bed runner/scarf. ....I think I should do a very muted or solid color duvet with a bed runner/scarf and matching shams and get my own decorative pillows to match and then choose a nice long curtain to soften the room....add a chaise lounge and a small desk and a chair where the loungerie chest is? ....or a small chair?
Our bedroom could never get this rustic looking BUT I like the look of the comfortor at the end of the bed with the decorative pillows. BUT my current comforter is way to heavy to fold down like this and the bedding would have to be tucked in everytime (ugh) ....maybe not. But I do like the comforter. Reminds me of Ralph Lauren
plain bedspread with decorative pillows that bring in the color on the wall. BUT I'm afraid that this dark of blue color with my dark furniture will make the room look too dark. BUT perhaps a lighter color with the plain bedspread and the decorative pillows. I dont think there's room for a bench at the end of the bed with the armoire at the base of the bed....perhaps move the armoire??
I like the desk and the chair in the room.....hmmm....would be good by the window??....but where is there room?...move the loungerie chest?...put a smaller table and chair....is there room for that with the bathroom door ? Again the material drapes make the room warm. I like the different colored pillows....maybe a way to bring texture and color to the bed without having a print bedspread
dark furniture....lighter walls. One long picture over headboard to match decor. TV?
