Kitchen stools and wood countertop

Q

Photo

Not an idea for our place - just flagging because holy shit I want to live here

Q

Photo

VIP pic - OK this is a bit more realistic for us - no island and light coming through from another room (in this case a garden). I love the cabinetry colors. Looks like it goes great with a light, bright floor - can we do a light wooden floor that doesn't look shit?

Q

Photo

Love the cabinet coloring here. Would probably go for a slightly darker wooden floor. But maybe if it should match the floor downstairs where there's less light we compromise with a lighter oak

Q

Photo

I like the light grey walls juxtaposed with the charcoal countertops and white cupboards. I would like to save money by not messing around with the ceiling, if avoidable, in the kitchen or living room and favoring instead lighting underneath the cupboards and appliances, even flooring. Again I prefer evenly distributed soft lighting over harsh overheads and spots like these

Q

Photo

Like the bright colors which we'd want to maximize - steel countertops might not look as good when not in island format like this? Ours would be around the perimeter most likely

Q

Photo

Like the wood extension to the island, which I don't think we have room for, but like the overall aesthetic
