A little deeper, but this is Stone Harbor. 2111-50 by BM (one of my favorites because it is a griege...has a tint of taupe in the gray so it's very neutral yet rich with character) The cupboards not the island.

This is BM Coventry Gray. Remember, paint will always look different hue in rooms depending on the lighting etc...you can always grab a sample (usually $5 and paint a 12x12 area or paint on a plain paper and tape to cupboard to see if it's the color you want. Check it out am, afternoon and night.

This is pretty reasonable. It is laminate but has the three colors that you wanted in a countertop. You can order and have shipped to your home for builder to install.

This is a laminate countertop with a warm white for cupboards. I prefer the oil bronze hardware to bring out the dark in the countertop, but brushed nickel works too.

You mentioned white cabinets. Here is an idea where you could have white for top cabinets, a deeper color for bottom ones. Glass backsplash is trendy, but I like it . Do you?

An example I was talking about if the cupboards and counter are same in color it makes the room feel bigger.
