Reply to: I got the glossy finish on the counters. The matte looked too plastic-y to me. The white cabinet paint is Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore and my backsplash tile is Cloe in white by Bedrosians.

Reply to: @Lindy M. Palmer, which white did you go with? I love white dove, but in my light (room facing north east) it looks a little yellow. I'm currently thinking about BM Simply White and BM Cloud Cover.

Reply to: Hi Courtney- My “go-to” White is always BM Simply White, White Dove reads a little yellow in my opinion, although many people love it. I was not satisfied with any whites with my very white Calacutta, which is they very reason most of us choose it, so I went a different route. I used Calacutta on my island, base cabinets are a custom blue. The pictures looks very cornflower on the island base, but it’s really a lot more grey. I used a gray quartz, looks almost concrete color on the perimeter countertop, with Simply White on the base. I realize that option may not be available to all, but I love it.

Reply to: Thanks so much @Anthony Chang and @Steven Eng Looking at Cyril and Hayes oak. Cyril is newEr and looks a tad warmer and timeless. I like both but am leaning toward Cyril. What did you pay per SF uninstalled? any suggestions for where to buy most appreciated.

Reply to: Thanks! Mine is Coretec Hayes Oak. This is our Florida hone so we wanted something beachy. Kay, this floor is amazing. Drag whatever you want over it, no problem with scratches from the dog etc. They have many choices depending on the look you want. Noble Oak and Calypso are nice too. This is a winter home for us and our time to renovate was limited. I had heard about Coretec and coincidentally our contractor showed us this floor in a home he just finished. Some boards were left in the box under a bed! Honestly it is hard to choose by just seeing pictures of a product so when my husband and I were both on the same page after seeing it we jumped on it.

Reply to: We are still in the process of decorating and remodeling. Here is my only sofa purchase! Dining area Hallway It is a matt finish very rustic/beachy to me. It doesn’t show the dirt, wears like iron, nothing can scratch it, and yet it is comfortable to walk on. My DH was so against LVP. We wasted weeks figuring out how hardwood could work. Lucky for me, our moisture test came back too high for real wood! Of course, everyone claims you can do it anyway! But, DH is now a convert. There is a thread on Coretec and there was another choice beside Noble that someone was considering. Some people are concerned with the pattern repeats. That there wasn’t enough variation. I am not sure which that was as I don’t think that is the case with Hayes. Maybe I’m not that critical. Ours was installed randomly.
