A stain manufacturer from TWP said that our contractor should use edge grain because it stains more evenly. What do you recommend?

Reply to: Thanks! The dark gray upper material is 16 ga. hot rolled steel panels with a protective sealer finish. Your local steel supplier should be able to guide you on availability in your area. The lower wood is western red cedar shiplap boards. The stone is locally sold as 'Cisco Grove' ledgestone. Hope that helps.

Reply to: The wood on the house is Western Red Cedar with a Sikkens Natural Oak stain. The metal trim on the house is factory finished in Extra Dark Bronze to match the standing seam siding and roofing.
