I like the curve on the hood and where the corbels are
soffit above cabinet painted and trimmed to blend in with cabinet
high ceiling with soffit, love the island. wondering if shelves would look nice or if i should skip it

I like the look of this island. The thick quartz top. I don't like how the sides of the hood go down to the counter. I need my counter space.
