MIssion Viejo Kitchen Remodel 4
This 1967 Chanticlaire model Deane Home in Mission Viejo received a Le Gourmet Kitchen remodel and incorporated the original brick fireplace wall to be used as a splash of color as well as convenient storage for pots and pans used by these home chefs. The homeowners added a sun room to the back of the home and opened the space up for entertaining. We removed the dining room wall and added French doors for access to the side yard. The travertine tile floors are a staggered pattern and run throughout the first floor. To add volume to the room the designer created two recessed areas in the ceiling and added moldings and lights to add to the ambiance. The home owner later added Solatubes for natural light during the daytime. The cabinetry used in this design is by Wood-Mode and is a distressed glazed cherry.
