Mission Viejo Kitchen Remodel 2
This Mission Viejo Kitchen design and remodel is a Dean Home Chantaclair model home. The home was originally built in 1966 with minimal counter surfaces and inadequate storage for today's needs. I was contracted to design and install a new kitchen for the family. We selected Wood-Mode custom cabinetry and chose the Gallaria door design in Cherry wood with the Sandstone II pewter glaze finish and lightly distressed the cabinetry. We removed the wall dividing the dining and kitchen, designed and installed coves in the ceiling to provide indirect lighting and provide more volume. We also chose glass fronted cabinetry to provide a balance of light, more visual space and a display for dishes and glasses. This kitchen features a wall mounted pot rack by Enclume and travertine floors. The kitchen looks today, as it did the day we finished installation.
