This bathroom was extremely outdated with its original 1980s tile work, cramped layout, and dated fixtures shown in the before photos. The space felt cluttered and closed-off, with the old mosaic tile surround dominating the room and creating a heavy, dated appearance. Completely reimagining the layout and removing the bulky tile work opened up the space to allow a luxurious, spa-like feeling that transformed the once claustrophobic environment.
We included a dedicated makeup vanity area and floating double vanity to incorporate significantly more storage while creating distinct zones for the busy professionals to enjoy their daily routines. The warm taupe cabinetry was a sophisticated upgrade from the original beige cabinetry, and the stunning marble surfaces replaced the small mosaic tiles to create a timeless, elegant aesthetic. The new freestanding soaking tub became a dramatic focal point, replacing the old built-in tub surround. The remodeled bathroom now functions beautifully for the couple to enjoy their morning and evening routines while providing a serene, hotel-like escape that feels completely transformed from its original 1980s design.
