This is my residence and where I have time to unwind. Its a Mission Viejo kitchen remodel completed in 2015 in the Deane Homes community. It is a Chanticlaire model home built in 1966. We kept all of the original walls and decided to give the room a makeover instead. The kitchen originally had low soffits which were removed. We added a recess in the ceiling to gain height and included tin ceiling panels for visual interest and provide an area for LED indirect lighting behind the cove. The featured cabinetry is Wood-Modes Brookhaven series in the Pasadena Inset door style in the Nordic White finish The fireplace wall has Chicago reclaimed brick installed over the original 1966 brick and provides easy access for the pan racks. The featured range and showpiece in the kitchen is the AGA six-four dual fuel range in British Racing Green.
