I live in India and I am a regular visitor of houzz.com as I love getting inspired from the great work and ideas displayed here. I am facing a dilemna in choosing length and width of curtains for my living room. We have 2 walls with one window in the center of each wall. The wall would be approx 11 feet and window width would be approx 6 feet. I want to hang floor length curtains for both the windows. But we want to use one of the walls as a canvas for watching movies etc. by using a projector that will project picture on the wall. We do not want the curtain rod fittings to get in the way of the picture projected, so we are thinking of installing the curtain rod end to end. So my question is at what height i should fix the curtain rod to get a better look, just few inches (typically 6 inches) above the window or right at the ceiling?
