hey! @shipster is correct. Usually, dishwashers that you see in different images are built-in. this can be achieved in a modular kitchen. I am assuming you have your carpenters, and additionally you already have a dishwasher, so the best solution for you is to use a step. If it is possible, keep the dishwasher towards the end of the countertop. that way you won't have an awkward rise. Now this is an important point for you to consider, have you finalized the machine and not bought it? if so please exchange it for a built in one another is is your dishwasher old? Because in case you plan to change it out in a couple of years, don't make the counter to suit these needs, invest a little early and get the right appliance! I hope this helps! All the best Miloni

hi, my kitchen counter is too high for me, it is 37 inches. the solution i think of are, 1) have to demolish and reconstruct the kitchen counter 2) Raised kitchen platform pls help me which one i should go? any issues associated with this? my kitchen is a open kitchen.

Hi Vaishnavi ,  Greetings from Homez Designer . Yes the height of the platform will be too high if you are planning to keep the dishwasher under kitchen counter as it will be 85cm(dishwasher height) + 5cm ( platform that you wish to have ) + 5cm ( roughly for granite and height between dishwasher and granite )  In total it will be 95cm which will be too high for a granite counter as the standard it should not be more than 85cm . ( that too on higher side ) You can create separate counter for the dishwasher if space allows more over you can share your kitchen layout with us for more detailed discussion . I hope it helps .
