I like the ceiling. I think the hanging lights are too fancy and distract from the ceiling decor. A simpler light would look better or sticking with the canned lights you have. The walls have too many big, black things on them. It's hard to tell if they are windows with shade --- in which case I'd pick something lighter, perhaps to echo the ceiling, TVs (how many do you need?) or what. I'd consider a big piece of statement art in the place of at least one. If you're on a budget, get a large, high quality photo in the right colors, you can take it yourself. Sepia and black architectural might work. I like more color and more natural light. You may have closed the shades for a better picture, so it's hard to comment on the light, plus windows are a feature of your room, not exactly a decorator's choice. I would consider how to get a few small pops of color in, pillows, flowers, candles, maybe even a runner rug along the right wall. If you are doing this as part of a portfolio, the entire ensemble would look more welcoming with a few touches like someone lives there. Something on the coffee table, for example. A few books and a candle. A tray with tea things, a vase of flowers or basket of fruit. Pick one or two things and make it composed. You see this a lot in designer Houzz photos. Hi Maam/Sir, I would recommend you to share a better perspective pic of your room where the ceiling is also visible because if a room does not have enough of natural lighting then some artificial effect like a false ceiling treatment would really give a great boost to the look and feel of your space. I would also suggest you to follow a concept like i can see there are a lot of varied colorscheme happening in your room so changing a curtain will not be much help. You should find the right patterns maybe like adding some pastels or i can see that some red or maroon color is involved in your room so try to match the lighter version of these elements. Hi There, Kids room is from where all creativity comes. It should be full of energy and exuberance. Here i am adding images from one of my recent project where one wall was used as wardrobes and study counter inserted into it along the window and one wall used for tv unit with creative display of knick knacks. The Furniture was kept in mind also, the bedroom was for two brother so a puzzle sort of puffs for seating so they can invite friends and have fun. hi....the width of the area is 5 meters....from the center of the tv area to the left (till the wooden partition) is 3m, and to the other side is 4m. tv is comfortable to watch from the wooden partition end, but very far from the other side. i had alsl thought of creating two seperate sitting areas, but not sure what we should add. I hv 6 meters of the existing sofa fabric, and hv the option of getting another seating made with it if required. pls advice! also, i tried another setting with the existing sofas. sharing the pic...not sure if the sofa handles in the middle look ok!
