So you're running two threads on this space? I think you'll be happier with the responses if you stick to one thread for the entire makeover, as it is all inter-dependent - foyer - living - dining. Now that I know that the living dining are together I'd suggest you use measurements from the blocked space above the windows to determine stripe width in the dining space if you go with the wide horizontal stripes I suggested. The pattern is already set for you if you take the measurements. You could also make the stripes the width of your lower window section, or half of it, but use the horizontal lines already in your space to determine the other stripes you may add.

we do in guest bedroom,, but not sure will go with colors I have picked out, and the great room is a vaulted ceiling ....I guess we will just have to see...our house is being built and will be very open..not alot of wall space.

Hello Sansapt, Basically, it is not the price difference between the different paint types that matter much. It is the respective preparation required for these is what is makes them costlier/cheaper. Premium paints highlight even minor undulations in the walls (more than the regular ones). So, they require a lot of prep work before the painting even starts.If your putty and primer work are done thoroughly using premium paints would make sense. Otherwise a regular emulsion would give better results. Sheen in paints is often misunderstood with gloss. You won't see a reflection even if it's an aspira. We personally prefer Aspira because we are lucky to have thorough painters team. If you have any doubt go for Royale matt, as a safer bet. Color choice is very individualistic and you are a better judge. Your designer, would know your taste and would recommend you a suitable choice. Asian paints also offer a free consultancy. Hi There, Kids room is from where all creativity comes. It should be full of energy and exuberance. Here i am adding images from one of my recent project where one wall was used as wardrobes and study counter inserted into it along the window and one wall used for tv unit with creative display of knick knacks. The Furniture was kept in mind also, the bedroom was for two brother so a puzzle sort of puffs for seating so they can invite friends and have fun.
