One possibility would be to swap the living room and the dining room. Since the current living room is larger than the current dining room you could still keep some comfortable seating (couch and upholstered chairs?) against the front wall for a keeping room/dining concept. Then your new dining areas (kitchen and dining room) and living areas (living and drawing room) would have good flow between them, which would work well both for family and entertaining. You could also add some builtin bookshelves in the drawing room or new living room to create a library area to add another fun element to the living areas. These bookshelves could be against the long walls in the drawing room, around the window with a window seat in the living room (former dining room), or built to create some separation in the open area between the drawing room and living room/stair area. Your plan seems to show some sort of builtin there, but I'm not sure what it is.

Great space, but narrow. How about the couch where the two chairs are, the storage piece under the artwork, and the two chairs in front of that light wall? If you need more seating, put the chairs across from the couch, and add another couch the same size at a right angle. Your area rug is a bit small. The wing chair should move away from the window, perhaps angled into the window/wall corner.

i agree with Ms. Rupal Shah as to get rid of the piece or redo it. If not you could probably use wallpaper to cover it. if not that even i have a suggestion for colour pallet. the wall opposite no. 3 should also be no. 3 and the wall opposite your green unit can have a custom wallpaper with shade 5, 4, and 2. you could also get a floral mural done in the same combination. Shade no. 1 (Sage) would be perfect for tufted head board for the bed. white bedsheets with large cushions in shade no. 5 (Burgundy) and shade no. 2 (rose pink) to top it off you could have some accessories such as: Dont forget to keep 1 or a few indoor plants too! Hi, Congratulations on your new home! It seems really lovely place. I'd like to know whether are you planning on renovating whole space or just changing the furniture? If you are only going for furniture, here are few images of couch attached, please have a look. I say, align the couch along the walls so that you can get more area to use. Go for regular couch and chairs. If I'm not wrong TV is placed above the fireplace. Suggestion: bring it to eye level. TV is normally placed at the height of an average 30".
